In a resolute move towards ensuring lawful urban development, the Dehradun Mussorie Development Authority (MDDA) recently took robust action, demolishing 120 bighas of illegal plotting in the Sahaspur Development sector of Dehradun. First case: Focus of the operation was the Sahaspur development sector, specifically Dhaulas, where the MDDA received information about unauthorized plotting. The allegations pointed towards Manzar Alam and accomplices, accusing them of executing nearly 90 bighas of illegal plotting without seeking approval from the authority. Second Operation: Another individual named Rashid in Sabhawala, Sahspur, was found guilty of illegal plotting spanning approximately 40 bighas. The MDDA, acting on the orders of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), swiftly demolished the unauthorized structures with the same dedicated team present during the operation in Dhaulas. In essence, Dehradun's recent creackdown serves as a noteworthy examples of a proactive approach in safeguarding the city's planned growth.
